Importer Security Filing

The Importer Security Filing, popularly known as 10+2 or ISF, is a security requirement established by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  All U.S. importers are required to submit certain data to CBP prior to their shipment being loaded at origin.
The following ten data elements are required for all ocean imports destined to a U.S. Port 24 hours prior to overseas lading.
  • Manufacturer (or supplier) name and address
  • Seller (or owner) name and address
  • Buyer (or owner) name and address
  • Ship-to name and address
  • Container stuffing location
  • Consolidator (stuffer) name and address
  • Importer of record number/foreign trade zone applicant identification number
  • Consignee number(s)
  • Country of origin
  • Commodity Harmonized Tariff Schedule number
Below are the two additional elements from the carrier.
  • Vessel Stow Plan
  • Container Status

DGL ISF is a web-based solution to the Importer Security Filing. This platform integrates and stores the information of your supply chain partners and allows for direct submission to U.S. Customs while giving the importer full visibility into their ISF filings. If you would like an online demonstration of the system, please contact 10plus2@dedola.com and schedule an appointment today.
